I've thought a lot about it, talked to a few who do it, but never 'flipped the switch'. Interested to see the comments in this thread, thanks for posting Dianne.

Have you done a discussion search on this topic?

As a matter of fact, Frank, I signed up for it yesterday. Observation so far is, it shows all the Featured images in my profile. haven't had time to investigate further

Edit: it works well as far as getting more views

It seems very hit or miss. Most images I stumble just sit there with no views, but occasionally they take off and can lead to thousands of views. I stumble others work on here as well so can't speak for their experiences, but I have never personally sold a print of an image that I know has gotten many views through SU. I keep trying, as it's a quick and easy way to promote and get more eyes on the work I promote.

Thanks, Priya.

So far yes, its a quick and easy way to promote our work... from there we never know. as i mentioned above, I've gotten a lot more views from it already, and still more since then

I'm on there, but where do you see the number of views you're getting - I can't see any info like that

StumbleUpon is a mess. I don't see how it's helpful for getting your work seen and sold.

Paul, back here in 'behind the scenes', then go to 'Visitors'

JL, SU is a mess and i can't make much sense of it. all i can see is I'm getting more views since joining and hitting the SU button next to my images...

Haa, OK Dianne - I thought you were referring to a visitor count on stumble itself :)

@Paul, to see the number of views on an image you have stumbled, go to your "likes" page in SU, and below the title of each piece you've stumbled there is an "i" icon, and next to it a number. A good deal of the time it will be 0, but other times it can be in the thousands. There is also a "see activity" link below the "i" icon where you can see a bit more about activity on the image, including some of the other stumblers who have liked your work. Feel free to check out my likes, to see if this makes sense: http://www.stumbleupon.com/stumbler/priyaghosephoto

One other thing...SU has revamped the category process (it used to be manual) and it frequently miscategorizes images...this will be abundantly clear if you check out my likes, where a photograph of a waterfall is in the "Rock Music" category (but has gotten 58 views thus far)

How do you see your featured images? Which profile su or faa? I'm not seeing how su is connected to my faa website. Signed up for su but I'm confused to say the least.

@Bill I checked out one of your images, and it appears that you have the majority of your social media sharing buttons turned off, including SU. Turn them on (Behind the scenes -> sharing buttons located under the Marketing header) and then click the SU button on one of your images to stumble that image.

To see which images you have stumbled and how many views they have, you need to be in SU itself. Your link should look like the one I posted above, minus the "priyaghosephoto" part, as that will be your SU ID you signed up with.

Yes, thanks Priya, I see that now - as you say most of them are zero, even other artists images I've stumbled are zero so not a lot of hope for mine

After I upload a new image to FAA I then use the Pinterest, SU, facebook, G+ and whatever icon to advertise my new painting.

SU and G+ don't provide me with any warm fuzzy's. Thus far I don't get feedback or notable views/sales from these platforms and I am sure a LOT of that is that I don't use them to their full advantage, since I haven't taken the time to learn how.

I enjoy the Pinterest user friendly platform and my growing followers. Just recently, a Pinterest user saw one of my paintings and followed the link back to FAA to contact be to buy the original. Thus far, FAA and Pinterest are best at marketing for me.

I also just opened an Etsy shop that seems to be gathering some views.

Where do I find my link to SU?
