Posting To My Facebook Timeline

I can't seem to figure out how to post a link to one of my paintings to my Facebook Timeline. I click on the little "F" Facebook icon that has a "0" under it but nothing happens. If for some reason there is a number under the "F" it does pop up a window so I can add it to Facebook. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? Thank you.

Do it manually. Highlight the link in the box to the right (not the address bar up top) do Ctrl C, then go to your Facebook page and do Ctrl V. Be sure to engage your audience in some way so it's not just a "hey, buy this!" post. I typically post blogs to my personal page and links to photographs on my business page

There should be a pop up so you can share it on your timeline, but if that doesn't work do it manually

The little facebook icon just posts a link "John has posted a link" much better to manually post your image.

Thanks everyone. I think I have it now.

Horizontal images present fine in a FB link, but square and verticals often look terrible. Anyone know a way to change the way they show up?

I don't think there is a way to change the view Valerie, I have noticed most people prompting others to " see the actual image".
