What's with the pillow talk?!

They make great gifts. If the recipient doesn't like it they can easily hide it in the guest room. Then they can quickly move it to the living room when the giver visits. Wall art is harder.

"Hey, where is that duck picture I got you last Christmas?"
"Oh it was getting dusty so we sent it out to be cleaned."

The first thing I thought when the pillows came out was seeing what my funkiest images looked like on them. Pretty fun actually. As a Critique if someone starts to sit down then goes to another chair then they don't like it. It could make a good dog pillow?

Years ago, I thought a great gimmick would be to provide a service where one's old cut off jeans (both male and female) would be turned into pillows.

I figured it would be great gifts for a person's significant other...Especially if that person was away at that time.


Probably someone has done it, by this time.

I would NOT want my art printed on spinner hubcaps or on those fake bull testicles that hang off the backs of some jacked-up, souped-up cars with ridiculous hydraulics.

When FAA goes in that direction, then I might have to bow out. (^__^)

Mark Rothko wanted to have his works displayed one per wall as a site for meditation. Many artist over the years have felt the venue in which the work is viewed is important. That is why museums and galleries spend so much time, effort and money in presentation. So far most artist on this site do not seem to have any issues with where or how their work is viewed, interesting.

I have always had a passion for nice pillows they can really pick up a room and add interest and color! I bought some really nice pillows at pottery barn a few years ago, It may sound corny but they had Hawaiian dancers doing the hula with palms etc, They were very artistically done, I added some glitter in just the right places and I love them,
I think it would be neat to add pillows on a sofa under the corresponding artwork ,,carrying out a theme,,, For those of you who enter art shows you should order pillows of your renderings for sale too, Not everyone at those shows are interested in paintings or prints but maybe interested in pillows,

Pillows are nice but once again is it truly a venue to view art?

Thats odd, I always get the option and turn it down.

Maybe Claes Oldenburg needs to weigh in on the merits of listing pillows :) As far as the glitch of the pillows not listing, have you tried refreshing the page or clearing your browser's cache, Christopher?
