Quick Question On Print Dimensions And Borders
I've never actually physically seen a print produced by FAA in person.
On the image marketing page, print dimensions are listed something like:
Image: 16.00" x 10.63"
Overall: 18.00" x 12.63"
...indicating, what I always assumed, was 2 inches of white border space around the actual image. Even if you take a print order (no framing, just a print) to the shopping cart, the 2 inch border is indicated by the listed dimensions of the order.
But, I just noticed, when a print is sold (again, just the print with no framing) - on the page that gives details about the sale - the dimensions are listed as:
Image Size: 16.00" x 10.63"
Total Size: 16.00" x 10.63"
...indicating full bleed and no border.
Does anyone know which is the actual case?
I ask in regards to being able to offer standard-sized prints with 4:5 or 2:3 aspect ratios, for example. I always thought having an added 2 inch border would make that impractical...
