In my mind, Converse with the sun glasses will steer her toward sexy. Bunny slippers with the sun glasses will lean more awkward. I know you're not opposed to awkward...

No not opposed toward awkward but leaning toward converse for some reason plus the feet angles

i wonder if it should be round geekish glasses, and not the sunglasses, especially if it's sneakers in that position. maybe looking away or something.

Excellent work, and I also think shoes are the way to go. Instead of Converse though, I think I would lean toward something like Doc Martens - maybe mismatched with one red and one blue.

If it's mirrored sunglasses, I don't see that working as well with converse sneakers. Like the others above, I saw converse too but I see funky sunglasses with the converse, half laced, tongue hanging out (shoes, not her). Mirrored sunglasses makes me think biker chick'ish and combat boots! That would work, I change my vote to combat boots and mirrored glasses...next one converse and funky colored/shaped sunglasses (enlarged eyes, lashes)

Well, since everyone's going after the sunglasses now, I might as well suggest some sort of steampunk-esque goggles. I get the impression that Leah has an idea for a specific reflection in the mirrored lenses though...

Thanks Jason, Doc Martens that's another thought, melissa I think the glasses would work with converse but combat boots might be better, no eyes or lashes will be seen though, never want to be too whimsy in one painting it needs balance :)

My thought Jani is she is not fallen, she is a 20 something that is unorganized and doesn't plan for clean clothes, and didn't realize they were all dirty till she needed some. I have actually had people that have seen this series write to me form Europe stating how they have come across similar scenarios and it reminded them of my work which is flattering :)

I have a neighbor that does this, almost! She wears her one piece to the laundry room. Flip Flops with some little sea creature on the front (otter, dolphin, sea lion).

I like the idea of the Converse as well, but another possibility could be men's loafers or oxfords, she's slipped on something, anything to go out there.

I think you should go with the converse, or combat/work boots. To me, either would be much more interesting than bare feet.
