Changing Images

Is there an easy way to change my over 1000 images so that they will be large enough for Duvet covers or.... am I shit out of luck? LOL :-)

Er, sort of. You could batch resize in GIMP or another editor, but that will degrade the final quality considerably as your pixels become bigger and may not work on duvet covers...

There are a few products out there that do an 'admirable' job of up-sizing - if you do it though - you would have to upload them into a gallery specifically for the duvet covers - It works ok with digital abstracts - but might very well be noticeable in photographs or images of paintings. I used to use PhotoZoom Pro2 by Ben Vista. Mostly I've stopped using it, although it worked quite well.

No. You will degrade them. Don't worry about it and just concentrate on advertising what you CAN sell

Or tile some images.

Thank you all for answers. Appreciate that.

Not sure what you mean about tile some images.
Also, wouldn't it be possible to print only some sizes of covers, like twin or queen even if you cant print as large as the king?
I'm thinking that it's the way we do with pictures. Some pictures can be huge but others will only look good at a certain size.
If it's possible to write the program for duvets the same way you do the pictures, I think a lot more sales could be made because some people might only want a twin size for a wall hanging or a throw on a couch.

Possible?

Thanks

The twin covers have to be at least 5000 pixels on each side to print.

Tiling means stitching many of the same image together to get a larger piece...making a collage of sorts.

I was aggravated by that too...I randomly choose a size to work in 4800 for most of my stuff. Oh well. It seems 5000 will print all sizes or am I wrong?
