Original Art Price Discrepancy

I received a message yesterday from an art collector who saw my original artwork here and was interested in purchasing one. I'm wondering why the price listed on my pieces that are found through the seach here are about 25% higher than the price I have listed on my profile page? For example one priced at $400.00 on my profile page is priced at $499.00 on the search pages. I'm not sure what price she saw but was happy with the price I quoted (my price) and ended up buying two paintings...my first sales here, so I'm happy about that, but I'm not sure what price they are seeing when looking at the site.

Maybe it was listed on Amazon? Any FAA art that shows up on Amazon is higher in price to account for the 15% commission to Amazon and probably includes shipping.

Lillan I am sure it has something to do with our low dollar , mine show the higher price on here as I do Canadian funds

Thank you Edward, no these are just the prices here on FAA....different pages, different prices.

Beverly, that could be the case. I listed in Cdn funds and the buyer is from Canada but I wonder what price they see and if the higher price shown in the searches might put buyers off.

not to sure how to fix that , I know when I renewed my membership of 30.00 USA it cost me 35.00 or so Canadian , , Yes in the search they are more money than listed on my page for Originals

Lillian, try to make the same search when logged out, just in case.

Beverly, yes it's strange.

Good Idea Pablo, I will try that

No change in the two different prices while being logged out. I wonder if someone from the U.S. just sees the lower price.....
