I'll start... It is probably a tie between Paris and Bruges. Paris is obviously photogenic, but I loved visiting Bruges, Belgium as well. It seems a little more mellow and under the radar, and I got some great photographs while I was there. The people are very nice also. Even a one-day visit is enough to get a feel for the little city, while even two weeks in Paris can still be hectic. A close third is Maui (yes, not a city!). It is paradise and very conducive to getting the creative juices flowing. But all these places were inspiring to me. I'm always looking forward to my next adventure. :)

ThxU the the share & adventures... I've been enjoying WIDE panorama photography lately... Captured Rachel Carson's Preserve up in ME (USA) as it changed the tide emptied out the tidal pool. Unusual shots on boardwalks and sidewalks have been fun on walks wherever I go.

I agree that Bruges is a very photogenic city. Especially at night. I would also say that Boston is a very picturesque city though.

Great input! Maine and Boston are very nice! I've been to both several times (lived in Boston for a little while) and found both beautiful. :)

Bruges, certainly! I loved Budapest and Prague as well.

Soriano Nel Cimino, Italy is a small medieval town where no one speaks English and the town is divided into 4 distinct neighborhoods. We were lucky enough to be there during their Renaissance Festival and the whole town was dressed up in costume and the neighborhoods were all decorated in their respective colors and coat of arms. There was even live jousting in the street. Quite an amazing place. Unfortunately, my camera was stolen from my luggage at the airport, and I have no proof........

In America, I've really been enjoying Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC for the amazing architecture and downtown parks. Most of my current pictures are of those 2 towns.

Portland Maine is one of my favorite cities to visit. Boats, Lighthouses, water scenes, and a great downtown area. A little bit for everyone.

Trieste, Italy. Great mix of architecture from a Roman amphitheater to modern buildings, and its 'live and let live' attitude appeals to a great variety of cultures and races. Add to it the Gulf of Trieste on the Adriatic, its Karst topography with the Grotta Gigante, interesting history, beaches, food, ... it doesn't get much better than that.

Every city is photogenic if you really know where to look.

My US favorites are San Francisco, New Orleans, Washington DC and Orlando. How I wish that I would have had a better camera 30 years ago when I lived in Europe for 6 years. I would love to go back to Vietnam now, and see a completely different place that has had its beauty restored.

The place I want to go to most is South America. Rio, Buenos Aires, and the nation of Chile are calling to me.
