Marketing Brainstorming.....february.
My stated goal for 2015 is to double 2014's sales dollars. I doubled last year, so its a bit of a tall order, BUT with January winding down I am already at 300% last year for January. I was able to do that seemingly by keeping up the strong Holiday marketing, getting people to use their Christmas money on decorating their walls, coupled with a strong month of random sales as well.
Now, I'm turning my attention to February. It, historically, is one of my worst months. I am having trouble coming up with a call to action to get people to not just like the artwork on social media, but go ahead to the site and buy it. Holidays I play on gift giving, after holidays I played on buy yourself the gift you wanted with your Christmas Money. February.....buy your lover a print to signify your love? Yeah...that sounds like crap.
Lets get a discussion going about marketing for February. Anybody have any good ideas?
The one Idea I have is a lot of my photos are agriculture based, and a few have to do with cow calf operations, historically spring calving usually begins in mid to late February, so I could play on that some, but I am not ideally positioned with a lot of work ready in that genre, so I am hoping to come up with something better.
