Hi I am new on FAA. Thought to ask is it better to save photos as 300 dpi, or do ou use 72 dpi when uploading to FAA?

Dpi is only relevant if you're saving the image as a specific physical size. If you're specifying pixel dimensions (including saving at original size) dpi doesn't matter.

It is pixels per inch. PPI .. Only turns to dpi when printing We print anything from 100 up so that makes the math easy also to tell what size you can print at. 1000 PPI is 10"

It doesn't matter what dpi (ppi) you use for uploading. Whatever the original resolution, FAA will change it for each size of print offered.
Thank you all :) for the speedy replies.

and be sure not to crop it for a certain dpi, many people do that, enlarge the image in the process, then they don't print it because it looks bad. the size out of the camera is what you want. ---Mike Savad MikeSavad.com
Thank you Mike for the tip. I keep the image sizes as they are from the camera.
