Did you lose any images?

I just noticed I lost 2 images. One that I just loaded, it disappeared after 15 minutes and the other image I lost sometime in the last week? This is a new one on me ? But no image counter losses.

Yep, you probably had some images disappear. This has been a known problem that has affected some people. Try to figure out which images and let Abbie know.

Dear F Leblanc, In the past, I've noticed when I upload a new image I lose a couple of hundred hits to my front page. I don't lose the image, but my visitor count suddenly drops (gee, I hope that isn't a negative reflection on my work, LOL) it has remained a mystery as to why that happens. I hope you get an answer.

Want to keep track of this discussion -- when I logged in I saw that two images had disappeared, but I can't identify them. The last few times this has happened, I've been able to figure out which they were and notify Abbie. Not this time. Perhaps they'll just reappear... (I know, wishful thinking.)

My hit count has dropped by about 20,000.
My image count has dropped by about 700.

When the images went so did the views for them in the count.

Still down about 20,000 in my Total Visitors. Do not think todays hits are logging correctly.
Some of my images count has returned: however, I am still short 20-30 images or so.
So far no response from tech support.

So most of those 700 missing images have been restored? Maybe I wan't so wrong in thinking mine might suddenly reappear on their own. In the meantime, I figure if I'm not able to keep track of my own images, they can't be worth worrying about. Going forward, I'm implementing a more methodical system so that I can easily determine what's missing without wasting a lot of time.

Yes and has been off and on for weeks..get the numbers then they are gone.. now nothing is showing up in todays uploads and tech support not answering.. I have been writing them for over a week with no answer

Rona, exactly the same thing happened to me about a year ago. Abbie was able to bring the images back but it made me become more methodical so that I could identify them going forward. I now post all my images with their titles to a private pinterest board to keep record. Yes, I know I should probably do some much better image management with Lightroom or something but I haven't got into that yet. Too many new things to learn!

Yea! All of my images, just over 1,100, have suddenly reappeared. And my Total Visitors count (about 525,000) is now substantially correct.

Thanks to all the fine staff at FineArtAmerica for their help in resolving this issue.

Being back in business, so to speak...

and seeing that others have/have had similiar issues...

I offer the following suggestions
Save the jpg image which you posted in a separate folder and be sure it is backed up and backed up again.
I also believe it to be a good policy to also produce a flattened tiff image from the same data that you used to produce the jpg for posting,
