Where can it be found? I don't see it on my page...

..Now I wonder how this fits in with Facebooks policy on limiting posts that are "selling" or promoting a product, I thought they were discouraging such activities, Now they are adding features to make it more effective?!

Michele when I logged in the prompt came right up and I just filled in the web address, Try logging out and logging back in ,,,or in search field check call to action button"!

Just got an FB page! Going to add the button now...

Edit: Still can't find it. This is for a page, right? Very novice to this!

Basically we, or at least most of us have the shop" tab, but this is an additional prompt and will easily record statistics without having to go to google analytics

Perhaps it's being rolled out and not available to everyone yet. I also don't see the create button.

I saw this prompt a few weeks ago but got distracted and forgot about it , when I logged in I got the prompt again so followed through, Did you check the tutorial referenced above?

Michelle Calkins

Yep! It should be easy peasy, but is not there for me.

Same here, I can't even find the Shop Now button.

I think some people developed the personal profile as a page and maybe that is the reason it is not working for some?!

Michelle Calkins

I have a personal page and a separate page for my art and my frame shop. I also don't see it there. I wonder if there are different types of "pages"?

I can't tell some of the personal profile pages from the business pages in cases where people insert a business type photo instead of their personal photo, I notice Michele that you have the shop tab on one of the profiles,

Just read this from a facebook help team employee from a month ago in answer to a person wondering where the button was...so I guess I'll be patient and hope it arrives soon:

"Currently, not every Page has the option to add a call-to-action button. This feature is currently being rolled and all Pages will have the option to add it in the future. Please continue to check back on your Pages and follow the instructions in the Help Center article you posted to add it when it becomes available."

You're welcome! It kept asking how I wanted to add for phone and for tablet ,,,I had no clue so just entered the basic url,..hope it works ok, We should test the action button on all of our devices, we can click on the button and edit and make changes if necessary,

Shucks! I don't have one either..:(

Interesting that some have it and others don't have it. It didn't state that it was an experiment on Facebook's part so not sure why they selected some and not others.

I'm also in the US and don't have it yet. Thanks for making us aware so we can be on the lookout for it!!

I found it under "Promote". It is a blue button on the left side of my page. When I click it, it shows several buttons to choose from. But it looks like it requires that you pay $10.00 a day to use it. Am I wrong on the pay to use?

Jessica Jenney

Promote is something different! It would show on your cover photo near LIKE. Look at my link above

Nothing here, my husband's business pages don't have it either. We just have to be patient and look out for it. Thanks for the heads up Judy.

Maybe some of you that don't have it are not the page administrator? I could not find the button on my smartphone, I have a feeling that those of you who didn't get the prompt probably will at some point, Maybe its being rolled out in us in stages...maybe the support teams get overwhelmed if everybody gets it at once, Also, try logging out and back in several times to see if it will trigger the prompt, Im not sure but I think when you make a post it it will incorporate the call to action button embedded in the post,,,or maybe that is wishful thinking If it doesn't,,,It may be a good idea to draw attention to it when you create a post, This blog claims you should change your cover photo on your page once a month to keep it fresh! Really!!Here is another article regarding the buttons, http://www.postplanner.com/facebook-call-to-action-button-for-pages/
