Edited Image Description Erases Duvet Cover

... just a heads up to fellow artists and "the management", ... if you do not already know about this:

When you fill out all the prices for your various print-on-demand offerings, and you decide to go back to edit your descriptions, your prices for the duvet covers will be erased. Consequently, your duvet cover offering will NOT show up anymore - you have to re-enter your duvet cover prices every time you edit your image description, in order for the duvet cover to show up as a print option for that particular image of yours.

Yes...I have found that more times than not, the prices set in default for the duvet covers will not stick...so if you make an edit and its a time they decided to not be there, hand entering them is required.

Yep I have had the same problem. Actually this thread made me go back and check and I found another half a dozen I had missed.

Yes, it happened to me.

Well, ... thanks for chiming in all, ... this confirms it.

Same here. It deletes the pricing on the duvets when you edit the image so make sure you add the pricing back in before saving the edit.

Thanx for that, I hadn't noticed. When I looked, all my images were missing the duvet AND the phone cases. This seems specific to the FAA site, the artistwebsite side seems unaffected, and has retained all defaults.

At least I'm aware now and can keep an eye on it.

Hum, it's actually true. And in my case, it affects phone cases as well, same as Randy. In fact, are phone cases an option in the FAA site at all? They only show up on my artist website.

'... 't is a shame FAA goes to all the trouble of getting phone cases, pillows and duvet covers up and running, only to have a website glitch erase these offerings on edits of the very words that help sell them.

I hear the code writers cursing now.

If they did their jobs right the first time on a regular basis, and actually tested before release they'd have a lot less stress in their lives.

Sometimes the test is trying it. And in this case, the "test" shows that some improvements are in order. I bet testing WAS done, but certain complexities that only later have become apparent were NOT apparent at the time of those preliminary tests.

I will, thus, refrain from being so hard on "them", hoping that this phase of the TEST shows the way to improvements.

Think about all the varieties of Coke that have emerged on the market, and remember the one that did not fair so well. The test was in putting it out there.
