"thank You"! The Transition From A Long-time Film Professional To The World Of Digital

I Deeply Appreciate knowing many of you through FAA. You have generously contributed to and educated me in this long journey of my learning about the world of 21st Century photography and the post-photography computer programs. (I'm a new "baby" with each small step). My 22 years of international professional film assignments for many corporations and the NFL (70s/80s/90s) were challenging and glorious. But now, the Game has dramatically changed and I'm often struggling with trying to absorb all of this "new" world of information and practice. I have LOVED photography since I began shooting in Central Park, NY in 1969 following my Army tour.....To me, it is still my artistic Passion. I Thank all of You...You are New Friends and Family to me. And Most Generous Ones At That!! Ross Lewis

I love your stuff, Ross, whether it's done with film, digital, or run off on a mimeograph. Composition, color, simplicity. They just jump. Reminds me of Pete Turner, whose photos appeared on a lot of great LP jackets in the 70s and made a big impression on me. Maybe you knew him?

Ross, you're one of those guys who reminds us that there are great pictures everywhere. Your portfolio is a testament to "it doesn't matter what it is, there's a marvelous shot here." You can make the side of a barn look awesome.

Dan & Susan & Jim,
"Thank You All!" I am very appreciative of your compliments. "Yes" I did know of Pete Turner. To me he was the Master of Dramatic Color and Design. I knew several very good Pros throughout the USA....We All Loved and Appreciated Each Other's work....It was a great society of men and women who shot thousands of pictures and I had great respect and admiration for them....Now, in this world of FAA, I have great respect and admiration for all of the photographers and artists at every level whether they are just beginning or are veterans in the arts.
Thank You!!!!
