Florida Shore Bird Id Help Requested

Can you help me? What is this? How are the colors? I am especially wondering about the blue on the head but also just the tones in general.
I put it in a password protected gallery as I will delete and re-upload once I can get a good ID and accurate tones. Please let me know if you can't see it with either of the links and tell me what I should do to enable you to do so.

It is a great blue heron and that is a very nice shot! The colors look true to life on my monitor.

I agree its a nice shot of a great blue heron. The grey feathers look a little too pinkish to me.

Depending on the time of year and the light - Great Blues can take on a "purplish/pink" tinge. This is my blue blue and chilled blue

It is a little pink/red. Put the white point behind the eye.

Looks good. Not sure about the pink. Here's another one for reference.

Saying it was pinkish helped. See if this is better.

Thank you, Jean. I did find this in Wikipedia:
"Notable features of great blue herons include slaty (gray with a slight azure blue) flight feathers, red-brown thighs, and a paired red-brown and black stripe up the flanks; the neck is rusty-gray, with black and white streaking down the front; the head is paler, with a nearly white face, and a pair of black or slate plumes running from just above the eye to the back of the head."
Words like "rusty-gray neck" and "red-brown thighs" fit Roy's observation that depending on the time of year and they can have a purplish tinge. So maybe it wasn't that bad in the first place, but it does look better to me now.
