The Association Of Keywords And Google Image Search I Need Help!

Greetings all members, I opened this discussion to first of all get help from everyone. As everyone is aware I am not all that computer privy computer, keywords and Google image search on your own photos to track and see if the photo is being used by another source. Recently with all the awareness here at Fine Art America by members never attempting to do google searches or reverse search which I do not understand at all. I thought I would give it a try and made a very funny association with my family photo taken in the 1950's by a neighbor then. Yes, that young boy with the clowns outfit that is yours truly awhhhh. I happed to have this photo on my hard drive and thought let me use this photo and asked at the coffee shop how do you do a google photo search to find out if your photo is being used illegally well to my amazement here is what I discovered about my family photo is linked the photo of my family.
.
I went to google clicked on images, then I proceed to do a upload image from my hard drive for the search and here is where the story gets insanely funny and the connection of the Naked Cowboy. I am furious because the photo is attached next to the link to a porm site. The photo appears on top of the page and below was the photo attached to the left as an avatar and all the links associated. Well to my discovery I had forgotten many years back I submitted this very same photo on line to a local newspaper conducting a contest. I clicked in on various links and it brought me to the local on line newspaper. After clicking on all the links the very first one brought me to a porn web page, what it was somehow my family photo is associated with a site that seems to have posted on the site photos taken Mardi Gras Day in New Orleans. Included on the page or those typical photos of images of woman raising there shirts up, the correct term was a show or site called girls gone wild.

Well, because here it is New Orleans Mardi Gras Day and because yes there is family present the city passed an ordinance if you expose your self and caught you would be summons a ticket or arrested for indecent exposure they now do there best to patrol and keep a watchful eye out.
I am sure many have heard the story's women would be on the balcony's on world famous Bourbon Street women and men would expose them selves to the madness on the streets below. And yes there were production company's would make videos of such.

Here is where the funny connection I had discovered in researching but I do not understand why does my family photo appear as an avatar next to the browser links. A very unhappy photographer, can not get in touch with the site nor has google assisted me. The photo was associated with a risqué site. . Someone had taken a photo of a guy in underwear with a guitar and wearing a cowboy hat, on the back of his underwear is the name Naked Cow Boy. Well after all the research there was another photo unrelated about a guy just in underwear in New York City it was taken in Time Square and all he is wearing is underwear with a guitar and was associated as a panhandler...The underwear was made my Fruit of the Loom. And that is the association made, the keyword of that photo I submitted to the local newspaper of vintage Mardi Gras had the keyword cowgirl because my sister is dressed like a cowgirl. I did find the very first link which pops up from the google browser search a warning does appear do not attempt to open that link could cause damage to your computer.

Then all the others do take you to the news coverage of the guy in New York who took a photo at Times Square with just his underwear and because of his photo snap shot with a guitar and just underwear Fruit of Loom looked at that and struck a deal with the guy in the photo for an ad campaign. He became famous,, and the guy who ever took his photo on Mardi Gras Day here in New Orleans is the Naked Cowboy from New York visiting New Orleans for Mardi Gras Day... The risqué site had pulled any related photos of Mardi Gras and posted them to their site which shows photos of women gone wild exposing themselves on Mardi Gras Day... When you go to the actual risqué site, I contacted Google and demanded the removal of my family photo associated with that site. So I tried to message the name of the risqué site and the sites says this host site can not be reached. , I had discovered I had submitted it to a local on line newspaper, and the cyber thieves must have pulled it from the on line newspaper I do recall the site was always crashing and warning users of spam,

. What I do not completely understand is why does the family photo not appear on the links when you type in the word The Naked Cowboy, yet when I do a google using images and then do you want to do a url linked search or upload. What I do know this guy is famous and known and has been interviewed and photographed by anyone who is fortunate to get a photo of him. And it seems Fruit of The Loom actually struck some sort of deal with him.

The first link on the browser search does have a posted warning do not attempt to click in to that link it could cause damage to your computer. Do you think its possible the risqué site I have mentioned is that link which has the warning.? This porn site which I did not mention its name because that site does reveal images which are sensitive to view. I have recently seen where someone else did a reverse search and it brought them to a porn site.as well all because of a keyword cowboy, cowgirl.
I appreciate everyone's help with this.

Hi Michael. " Welcome to the club..."
This is quite common now. These sites are Pin orientated (grab anything you like/want) from the Web, & yes, there is porn on them.
I was just doing a reverse search today (why....) & have several of my paintings up on these sites - & they are the first sites to show up.
Sickening to know that if someone likes my painting - they will now think that I am associated with Porn.

Spend your life tracking them down, or get on with business & do what makes you happy.

You need to find the Host/server by doing a " WHOIS ______" search & request the image taken down by a DCMA request.

Of course, it would be completely worth your effort due to the fact this is family.

It is sickening isn't it ?

Hello Janine, like yourself I too have been noticing discussions taking place regarding unwanted. Furious is a polite way of expressing, as I mention in the description of findings, I would not have minded if that were the case about the story of the panhandler or street musician that is funning my family photo was associated because the guy is wearing a cowboy hat, and I did list that key word cowboy and cowgirl. Its worse the site used innocent photo depicting Mardi Gras images of other individuals.

Put what I do not completely understand, does that mean when someone does a google search of a photo downloaded they will see their photo attached as an AVATAR to the link. because they are doing the search from their computer using there photo attempting the search. I know just basics or fragments I am not with the program of understanding. I am the type of person that questions and wants to understand the principle connection which is made or operation or function.

What I am trying to say its obvious if they do a google search it would bring them to the same host page the photo is on. Its already obvious I see their photo but they do not know this because they did not do a photo search of their own photo.

I will be back I am going to try something.

Ok, I now have done something else I did a who is the name of the site and the google browser page indicated the host is from the UK and an IP address. Now IP address I completely understand. An IP address can and does when you roam with your device say a lap top at your private residence you have an IP address because of the WIFI server...when you go to a coffee shop that same IP address which is your devices address changes. and from what I understand for privacy.....so when you roam the IP address changes.

Now that I have that information, do I leave a message with the IP provider and inform them of the illegal posting of my family photo to that site or do I give that information to google..

Michael - you would have to send an official DMCA notice , it has specific wording that must be used.
Lady Abbie has one on her site 1st Angel. There should be one up here on the links above.

Hello Janine, thank you so much for your help, at least now I have something substantial to work with, another question, when you go behind the scenes and look there it post the amount of visitor since you became a member. Just now I went to look and of course as usual I can see who has visited my gallery the time they viewed etc. on 11/29/2014 someone view my gallery for about an hour.....same city in New York, now I do have a personal friend up in NYC, maybe he directed someone to go look at my gallery. that is possible.

where in the heck is the BOT counter located. also I have been fooling around with the google image search. where do I do the url search from....can I go to my gallery click on a photo get the url and do it from there.....you see I do not have all my photo uploaded here on this computer they were on my other lap top which I forgot the windows password I do plan on getting an external hard drive and transfer over 5,000 images from there.....I have only used Piccasa and never had cloud or anything like that, this HP lap top has windows 8.1 and still learning.....

I do not know how to back track the visitor IP #. I have seen it mentioned here before as to how it is done.

The cities that show up - are a bit tricky. NY & Beverly Hills etc. do not necessarily mean that is where the view was from.
One of my local towns in PA , shows up as NJ. My neighbor shows up as a different town than I. Another friend's' town shows up as 30 miles away from his home.
Weird. Has to do where the provider's main server is ? ( I have no clue what I am talking about ) .
Good luck.

@Janine, you are correct, it does have to do where the provider's server is located. For instance I was getting districted about any strange activity at google and it was the owner of the coffee shop informed me, what I was seeing was were the actual signal was transmitting from. A tower. Then when I started noticing traffic from Brazil I new then my computer was being hacked. Spyware or malware, the slightest fluxuation or odd impulse to my screen I know right then somehow there is an attempt to attack my computer especially at a coffee shop. Some public business use wifi protect servers.

There was a serious instance at a Star Bucks uptown here in New Orleans, the owners were sick in tired of people getting into their server from college students hacking into customers computers they now use google wifi protection. Everyone one who uses the business wifi is protected though nothing is fool proof access hacking does not exist. I was told they do pay for it but hey if it protect there own computer and not to mention all the customers who use there wifi. congrats to Star Bucks for making choice.

Remember when you do a who is from what I do know if you own the domain because of security unless you personally set it public or private information. When you purchase a domain name just make sure you keep all that private info prevents spamming etc. I appreciate all your help...
