Counters Not Working

Hi Wayne, nope my counter is ok. though its no where near what urs was. i wish i could claim the same - would love to have 100 hits a day!!

Post to twitter and you'll get a lot of hit, mostly bots.

I'd fill out a ticket to tech help. mine are working fine.

Anyone know why there would be such a difference in count between the count on the left side of the profile page and the count on the visitors link. On mine there is close to 700-800 difference between the two

When you delete and image you leave a difference.

Thanks Dave that might account for some of it but the pictures I have deleted didn't have very many visits that's why I deleted them. Thanks. Not a very critical problem just curious.

My "views" are slowing down after the holiday bot rush, but they're not stopping altogether. I believe most of the views are actually views now and not "views."

Earl, I do know that there is a difference between visitors and views on the two pages. I would think, but don't know for sure, that if a visitor viewed more than once, it would explain the difference.

To include bots. Thanks to bots I get a few views and visitors now and again.

I believe David is right, the the views on your profile page include images that have been deleted while theviews Behind the Scenes do not.

Showing a few more within the last hour since I posted this. Guess its working,I did send a report bout the same time as this post so maybe they fixed it. Or maybe I just didn't get any hits over last couple days. I dunno,lol.

I'm certain that Joseph Hinson's statement is correct. I keep a running total of the least viewed "dogs" that I've removed and the sum is the exact difference between the two.....

Don't forget there is often up to a 24 gap between the count being updated on the back page
