Question About Customizing Artist Websites

I've noticed that some people have changed the homepage background area around the galleries. How is this done?

It seems to be only if you choose a theme. Unless I'm missing an area

I set up my landing page on my gallery page here (FAA), but I could not set the same landing page for my artistwebsite, does anyone know how?

Sign in to your AW than click on Edit Website appearance, on the left side Homepage and then the tab menu

Behind the Scenes -> Default Settings -> Default Tab = Galleries. Looks like this option is available only with Version # 2 of the AW, which means that you should be using a theme. Having said that I chose Version # 1 just to test it out and it seems that it pulls the default tab value from what you set it to on the FAA site as well.

HTH,
Cheers!

We will all have to switch to Version 2 this month!

I started with a theme but customized it to no end. When you are in Edit mode, go to Homepage on the left, then you can change the background image in the "Tab Content" tab, not the "Galleries" tab as you might think.

Thanks, Chuck! That worked!
