Does Anyone Else Think That...

FAA needs a new logo icon? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with art... it kind of looks very generic and not indicative of Fine Art in any way.

Maybe they should run a contest to the artists on here to submit images to be voted on for their new logo.

I wonder how we could suggest this to them.. Does anyone know how?

Not sure I would change it. Lot of time and money has gone into tying that logo to instant recondition with Fine Art America. That is what branding is all about. You"Brand" something because you expect it to and you want it to stick. In this case stick in the mind of the of past buyers and future buyers.

It has three-second-Impact. And like Floyd says, it's Branded. I have no issues because people should be looking at art and the logo doesn't destract from it. FAA is the iTunes and Amazon of the fine art world... If it were not then maybe a logo change.

I agree it is branded. But I certainly wouldn't mind an update to the current generic one. As a graphic designer I've seen many companies successfully update or completely change their logo and have kept their branding. It is all in how it is rolled out.
