Outside Sources Of Inspiration

A while back while I was shopping around for a website builder when I came across the portfolio below. It was featured as one of the example portfolios. I think the work is just exceptional; beautiful, honest and inspiring.

Do you have any outside sources of inspiration (so not from FAA members) that you would like to share?

Another site I really dig is that of Steve McCurry, the photographer who shot the famour Nat Geo cover of the Afghani girl.

I've visited both of those sources in the past, Dean; I can see why they inspire you!

For a shot of inspiration, I like to scour YouTube for new music or audiobooks, ambient sound, etc. I can also spend hours on 'color' sites, like this one from MOMA -

Or these -

Just scrolling through these pages makes me want to get to work! :-)

I get my inspiration from a glass of ice cold Mtn Dew (yes it's made from antifreeze) and oven fresh chocolate chip cookies.
And when I feel overwhelmed I go outside and wait for my neighbor's cat to come over for her daily back scratch. There's really something
calming to petting or playing with my neighbor's cat. She was a stray-victim of the housing crash a few years ago and just walked up to me at midnight on
Halloween night. She is very sweet and it's sad that she was cast astray but she has a good home now and lives a spoiled life. :-)
We call her "Spooky".

Wendy,
That's an interesting site. momo.org it's gonna take me awhile to figure it out though. :-)
