you'll have to advertise both sites. i have a generic site i don't update much at all or haven't in years http://www.suburbanscenes.com and that stems out to different stores. at some point i'll do something about that site. for now the best thing to do is get a vanity url and send them to your artist website. then once you decide on the page, you can always redirect that name to your website.

Pay the thirty dollars for a premium FAA account, which then gives you a separate artist website here as one of the premium features. Next buy a domain name and simply point it to your premium FAA artist website. This way you have a professionally named website that FAA has already done.

I can tell you that the following domain names are already taken (i.e., NOT available), or are ridiculously high priced premium domain names:

Finding a domain name is always somewhat of a hassle. I lucked out with rgkernodle.com - it was neither taken nor a high-priced premium name at the time.

I looked at your site and I think I will go with a personal website and add SEO to the package if I can. I don't need my own shopping cart yet. I do plan to research other print on demand sites. Also maybe selling on Etsy.
