Art Missing After Updating Keywords, No Longer In Images Or Galleries

Hi all!

After updating the keywords on 3 pieces of art, titled Eleventy Zillion, Santa Fe Marketplace, and Big Lick… none of them now appear on FAA. Has this happened to anyone else, and can I somehow get these (and their metadata) restored if they were deleted? Note that none of these were 'controversial' or adult in nature or theme; Eleventy Zillion & Big Lick were both abstracts, and Santa Fe Marketplace was a pen & ink drawing of the Santa Fe Marketplace. Also, all 3 had been up since Christmas 2012.

Any ideas?

I am not finding these images even in a deleted folder. Those were the exact titles?

Hi Isabella,

Thanks for responding so quickly to me! Yes. I'm certain of the titles Big Lick and Eleventy Zillion, and 85% certain about (the title of) Santa Fe Marketplace.I'd had over 200 views on that one. I started looking for them, because when I'd checked the 'behind the scenes' visitor tab a week or so ago, the Total visitors was somewhere around 8,800… this morning it's at 8,028.

Anything you might find out about this would be appreciated.

I have searched your deleted folder but am not seeing them
However I will go back and look for other titles and see what I can find

Thanks Isabella for your efforts. A thumbnail of "Santa Fe Marketplace" is still the logo for my "Places and Whereabouts" gallery.

If this helps with your efforts: I haven't deleted any images (on purpose!) for several months now. Anything recently deleted (in the past 2 months, say) was surely by mistake, or maybe the missing images, and I'd like to get those restored.

Also, I note that on my profile page I have a total views of 10,150. But on my Behind the scenes Visitors count, it's 8,031, a discrepancy of about 2,000 views.

Is it possible that, after updating keywords, descriptions, and pricing options on certain images… instead of those changes being accepted, the images are in some kind of 'pending' limbo?

Well, thanks again in any event!

Oh yeah! This may help too…

Two years back I opened the account as 'Olaf Del Gaizo.' I decided to switch to just my last name, Del Gaizo, which I did several weeks back. Then, when editing some metadata, I noticed that I had accidentally added an extra space… so that "Del Gaizo" had become "Del Gaizo"…with 2 spaces between the words Del and Gaizo. Wherever I encountered that, I switched the "Del Gaizo"…with 2 spaces between the words, to the correct "Del Gaizo" with only one space between the words.

Does that naming info help in the deleted image search? Thank you

Thanks for your efforts! They were Successful… but…. (don't you hate when there's a but?)

It seems like the return of 'Big Lick' has displaced 'Inevitable Waterfall'… a similar though differently hued image. I did find a link I'd posted for that in another discussion group (which is how I discovered that it had gone missing…)

Thanks in advance for any help. I believe that perhaps the missing art replaced or bumped the art that existed at that #/position in the gallery it was in.

Basically, I haven't deleted ANY artwork on purpose at all this year.. if I have a deemed art folder, could I request to have them all restored? Honestly, they could only have have been deleted by accident while I was updating keywords or pricing.

My name(s) appear as 'Del Gaizo' and also 'Del Gaizo' with two spaces after the 'Del' and also 'Olaf Del Gaizo' which is the name I opened the account under, eventually dropping my first name.

Thanks so much—your helps been great.
