Camera Woes And Advise

I LOVE the rx100m2 camera but was having trouble getting the Aperture Priority function to work properly, Finally I took the camera to best buy and the top Sony rep was there and looked at it, He agreed there was some issue and since it was under warranty was eligible to have it repaired or replaced, The rep loves the rx but guided me to the A 6000 instead, I was opting toward upgrading and getting the rx100 m3 with the popup view finder instead, I ended up getting the a6000 and not sure if this is the right choice, It is soooo much larger, does not have the retractracble lens, the lens is a sony 16-50 mm power zoom lens,,,,,,NOT the Carl Zeiss lens that was in the rx,,,bummer,,,,I watched videos comparing the two, while I realize I can change lens,,,I am still unclear how the two compare when photographing distal images with the lens that came with this package. I don't plan on buying a new lens anytime soon and wonder if it is the right choice and what i am really gaining, I called sony and cant get a straight clear answer, the 1 hour video comparing the two didn't really address that issue either, (He seemed to lean toward the rx due to size, and for me Size matters, Ideally I should have two,,Also this camera seems a lot more complicated,,, lot more,Right now I am leaning toward paying the difference nd getting the rx 100 m3 ,,, 799.00 (the a6000 was 699,,, on sale,,, Any suggestions from sony users?

Closing. Doesn't seem to be any participants and really the ultimate decision is mine. I have a month to decide and will explore this camera make the ultimate determination, Thanks anyway!
