Email Notification

I have not been receiving my usual daily email notification (just after 5:00 p.m.) of "Comments On Your Artwork" for the past few days. I have not changed my notification setting from "yes" to "no". When I check my "comments" tab under "Behind The Scenes", there have been numerous comments. I can't figure out why I'm not getting notification - it's so much easier to reply and reciprocate that way. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Check your spam folder or your provider may be blocking the mails at their end

it hasn't worked for the last few days, or especially today. i've got no mail at all from this place. its' being held back some place, i just don't think it's comcast. and in a matter of a few weeks i'll get everything in full.

Something does seem wrong with emails. I didn't receive an email for a sale yesterday, and I always have in the past.

 

Agreed. I didn't get an email for my sale last week; the first and only time that's happened in three years.

Of course, Abbie, The first thing I do is check my spam folder. There is nothing wrong at GoDaddy's end. Like Greg, I did not receive notification of a sale, either.

Hi Isabella,

I have checked with GoDaddy support and they find no problem with my email. When I go to my FAA email, it shows that I received 3 emails today - one was sent 2 hrs ago, one was sent 3 hrs ago and one was sent 7 hrs. ago. I have received no notification of any of these emails on my GoDaddy email account which is how it is set up in FAA. I did, however, receive 2 notifications of your posts to this discussion yesterday evening. Could you please look into this for me? Thank you. Have a wonderful day!

Hmm my emails seem to be sporadic. I got only 2 the past few days. I had many more comments and sales that I didn't receive emails for. I thought it was because we have that wonderfully professional company that is on strike ... Fairpoint. LOL

email is totally broken - i can't even get private mail, i tested it. so i don't know what i'm getting. unless comcast is erasing it before i see it, even though i turned the filters off... i don't think faa is sending anything.

I always check the website directly as there is a big delay between information being posted on the FAA site and me receiving the relevant e-mails...it is more time consuming but it works for me.

Some of you may be not getting emails due to server issues, There is a website where you can check to see if there are server issues for major websites, Here is the link, I got the link from Apple Support, DownRightNow.com/

Definitely something wrong with FAA emails. Had a sale a few days ago. No email. Almost never get my Updates. And just now got notification of a new email from a member but the email was sent and read on 11/16.

E-mail at FAA does not work properly. Too many different problems with different servers to be our individual servers' fault. No e-mails, too many discussion e-mails, e-mails with donotreply address (even though it clearly stated that if you got your own domain name it would use that as return address).

I am constantly reading about e-mail problems in these discussions. With all due respect, it can't always be everyone's individual servers and never FAA's problem.

We just want it fixed and that won't happen if the problem is never acknowledged except to say, "....it's your servers' fault...."

i sent a direct line about this. the fact that customers can't contact me is a real issue. and if tech support emails me i don't know if i'll get that either. it would be nice if they sent that stuff to internal as a copy.

it can't be a problem with comcast. i can see AOL doing it, they erase it before you can see it, comcast lets you get every piece of spam there is.

I got my first weekly email in months 11/8 and now last week nothing again. Tend to agree it is not on everyone else's end and needs to be addressed.

I just now received a donotreply email from a visitor requesting information on an original painting commission. The problem is that the visitor sent the request 34 hours ago. I should have received notification immediately - hopefully this client did not go elsewhere when he did not receive a prompt reply! I'm pissed!

YAAY! I just received my daily notification of "Comments On Your Artwork". I hope the email problem is solved and this isn't just a fluke! About an hour after I contacted tech support this morning, I received a flood of missing emails. I have yet to receive an explanation but, from what I am told by others, that is to be expected. No matter - as long as the problem is fixed! Thank you tech support!

I cheered too soon. My "NEW COMMENTS ON YOUR ARTWORK" notification is missing again today. Hopefully that is all that's missing!
