Free Drawing Program - Recommendations

Hi, guys

I've been using Inkscape to draw. Unfortunately, I just updated my OS (Macbook) to 10.10 Yosemite and the program isn't working on that level yet.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a free drawing program (preferably vector), that I can try? I don't draw that much on the computer, but I really need one. I have not played around with the drawing tools in PE 13, which I just upgraded to, but I've never found Photoshop to be "drawing friendly" since that's not what it was primarily designed for....any suggestions are welcome.

I draw and paint with Photoshop using a large tablet. I've never had any issues. Don't know of any free drawing software, although some may be available on a trial basis.

Adobe Illustrator is a powerful program (vector) but not free. I have found all the, "free" vector drawing programs pretty clumsy in comparison.

Yeah, thanks guys, that's pretty much what I figured. I have a couple of freebies and they are terrible. Inscape is actually a decent program, but it's not loading right now so I'll have to wait until they update it for the Mac.

Murray, I should probably get a tablet. In the meantime, I'm resorting to pencil and scanner ;-).
