Hee Hee. Thank you Susan and Marlene. As for drinks being on me, the money is already spent on a plethora of doctor bills. Unfortunately I won't be rolling much, if any of it back into my art, let alone anything else.

Congratulations on that , I love hearing of artists selling their work! I would say go ahead and go to get a pic with it, sounds like a good thing to do to me. It is something someone who is proud of their work would do in my opinion.

Thank you all for the wonderful words. I'm glad to see so many of you are leaning towards my going to The Westin. And, Fran, I like the idea of signing it. Now to get a pen appropriate for signing an image that dark. I'd be open for ideas from my fellow experts here.

No that is not tacky at all! They should welcome you with open arms. If you take a picture and tell the story that is good advertising for them as well.

I would write up a press release and hand carry it down to your local news paper and post it here on your FAA blogs and press releases.

When some thing good happens, shout it from the roof tops.... when something bad happens.... hide in the basement.

Despite selling my work for nearly a decade now, this is not just my biggest ever sale, it is the first time I have sold anything in the corporate arena. Knowing how far to step over that proverbial ethical line has been elusive to me until now. I just wasn't completely sure. I'll head down there the next available chance I've got. Very busy right now with work, union and activist activities. Thanks again, Floyd for your support and kind words.
