Linking To My Personal Faa Website

I'm setting up my own website/blog, and I want to create link to my FAA personal website, so that I can hopefully drive some traffic here and increase sales opportunities. I have inserted the little slideshow text, which says it will link to my Home Page but it actually links to the image displayed in the slideshow, rather than my homepage. Is there anyway I can change this to link to the Home Page?

Also, I would like the link to open in a new window, rather than navigating away from my site. Does anyone have an ideas to help me achieve this?
