What Is A "dead Heads Painters Underground Philosophy" Group? You Ask....

its about ideas - its about participation - its about your way out philosophy or the art philosophy that drives you. (Vincent, Dali, Warhol, Picasso, Klimt)
What are you thinking about during your painting?
Creating can be more important than the finished product.

I'd agree with you on this, yes............."Creating can be more important than the finished product. ".........because I love to be 'there' creating, rather than without a challenge.

My whole life has been an underground philosophy. Don't even have a cell phone. Seen the" Dead" when "Pig Pen" was the front man. When I am in the process of making art I am in my zone. When I am done so is the journey. 40 years of shows, co-ops, and galleries take a toll. FAA is so new to me, making something and having a print made is unbelievable.

Wait, isn't dead-heading something you do in a garden?

I like Dali's style as far as his own personal image. It was so strange, kind of funny, and kind of philosophical. As far as his works, this Dali lithograph may be one of my favorites . I don't know what the message of the piece is, though. Does anyone else see something in it?

"A little voice inside my head said don't look back, you can never look back..."

Actual, dead heading is also a railroad term. In freight railroading, it can be when a railroad crew is transported to or from it's train by either car or another train. In passenger trains, it is when the train runs sans passengers.

Also, running dead head is when you run empty between loads with a semi trailer.
