Theft Of Works ?

I suppose just removing the body of the OP takes care of the name and shame - but - why not remove the whole post - a warning? If you can remove the body of the OP - why not remove the whole post. Just takes up space. The other thing is - when you do what you did - remove the link - did the perpetrator get notified of the error of their ways?

That link should have had a NSFW warning on it anyway.

I know some of the artists. Work by Jaroslaw Kukowski has already been removed, a few days ago you sold prints. There are works by artists: Elena Dudina, Jennifer Healy.

I can see another two artist from FAA. Should I contact them about it?

Best thing to do is contact the artist or whoever now owns the copyright and inform them.
It goes on a lot on here (selling others work) but the work may now be in the public domain as the artist may have passed away some years ago.

OK, I am going to contact those two from FAA.

5. A statement by You that You have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;

6. A statement by You, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in Your Notice is accurate and that You are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

I don't think these kinds of threads should be allowed at all.

All they usually amount to is an attempt at character assignation or an out right public lynching. The fact that they are usually lacking in merit or real facts seems to never be part of the discussion. But you will be double damned if you suggest they should be.

These threads should be closed down as fast as the pop up, imho. And the OP should be sent the rules.

People that violate copyright laws or any laws should be dealt with severely, through the right channels. An open forum is not the right place to it.
