Twitter

I wonder if someone can help.

When I upload a photograph, I get the option of whether I want to automatically post it to my Twitter account (I'm new to Twitter).

I like how you get an image of the upload but I'd like to amend the text. Is that possible or is it just automatic FAA content?

Thanks,
Fraser

I'm fairly new to Tweeting manually with Twitter, you don't get any say in the matter that I know of when FAA posts and it doesn't seem I ever got any visitors. I believe it has been said in the Discussions it is more effective to manually Tweet, I don't remember all the technical reasons.

I have been getting more real visitors and not bots since manually Tweeting. There will be others to come along and comment and hopefully support my comment!

Correction, FAA was sending out Facebook images not Tweets for me, just recently started Tweeting, the above reasoning still holds.

I do change everything but the link text. I shorten it and make sure I have 10 left for people who like to re-tweet my tweet.
Just highlight the text and replace it with your own. I am #IrisKnowsFood

Iris, what is "10 left for others to re-tweet" and how can you tell how many re-tweets are there?

There are no limits on people retweeting your work. That may be not what you meant but it looked that way so I am explaining for people who were unsure.

Thanks Abbie, that's what I was wondering, if it is something else I'm not recognizing what it is.

Hi Ladies

Thanks for all the responses.

I'm assuming that Iris meant that she left 10 characters spare for anyone who was re-tweeting. Is that correct Iris?

Also, do you mean you edit your tweet once FAA post it directly to your feed?
