so get out there, make a pinhole and catch it as its going on

The clouds rolled in here literally 5 minutes before it was to start.

Like John, we were beset with clouds. They were beautiful, fat, glowing, clouds -- but not conducive to eclipse-viewing. :-(

I'm currently in the Columbia River Gorge and haven't seen the sun for days! It's great for shooting waterfalls, though. Happy shooting to those fortunate enough to see the sun!
