Help! Facebook Fan Page Not Posting New (or Old) Artwork Announcements As Directed

I just uploaded 4 new photographs to FAA, using the bulk uploader. I checked "yes" on one of the photo's boxes with the question: "Post announcement to your FaceBook Fan Page" or whatever. This used to work fine. I checked my FaceBook Fan Page and there's nothing there. (note: I'm NOT talking about my personal timeline!) Furthermore, I see that all my previous FAA posts to my Fan Page now have no thumbnail photo at all! So they all look bad on my page; there's just text about the upload, and no accompanying thumbnail. I searched to see if others are having this problem, and am not finding discussion of this exact issue here, but perhaps I missed it. It's been awhile since I uploaded anything.

Another related issue: I noticed before that I no longer have the option when uploading a SINGLE image to FAA, to post that announcement to my Fan Page... ONLY to my Profile Page (that wording should be changed... it's now a "Timeline"). I rarely if ever post to my Profile, and much prefer to post to my business page, or Fan Page. Oddly, however, when I used the bulk uploader today, I had both options available! FAA, you truly need to fix this to reflect whatever the current situation is!! And the above situation has been around for a long time. Thank you.

PS -- Here's a link to my FB Fan Page, & you can see there's no post from today's FAA upload: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Anna-Lisa-Yoder-Artist/58663079154 Here's the FAA image upload I said I wanted to have announced on my Fan Page: http://fineartamerica.com/featured/big-tooth-aspen-leaf-on-black-anna-lisa-yoder.html

I also just went to my "Behind the Scenes" section, and in the FB section, which actually lists Twitter, FB Timeline, and FB Fan Page info., it claims I have Twitter "Enabled". FB Timeline doesn't say "enabled", but lists my correct Timeline page. FB Fan Page section also does not say "enabled", but it says I have no Page available for the application (the one that automatically posts). Instead, it gives the address of my Profile (Timeline) once again, instead of listing my Fan Page.

I do NOT want to have anything automatically posting, and I've unchecked all the boxes on "Default Settings". But I DO want the ability to announce certain images as a check-box on all of my uploads. C'mon, FAA-- can we get this fixed?

ETA: I've since gone to the video that FAA recommends on that Social Media page, but it's basically all stale (out-dated) instructions. However, thru the comments under the video, I learned that it may help to disable my FB Profile (Timeline) account (on FAA) & then re-enable it. I tried that, and that seemed correct to an extent-- after that, my Fan Page(s) showed up. (I manage 2 separate Fan Pages) HooRAY!! BUT, to my dismay, when I tried to actually add FAA to the correct one, I couldn't! FAA takes me to a FB page with a small drop-down menu in one corner. Only ONE of my pages showed up in the dropdown, & of course it's the wrong one (my band's page)! My Artist Page doesn't appear in the dropdown. Even so, I tried hitting the "Add Page" button in the lower right corner, & I get taken to what's supposed to be my FB Fan Page FAA Shopping Cart. But... nothing. A long number shows up. There's no shopping cart, no FAA, no nothing. Boohoo. So it's still not working.

FAA -- Do you not care about this at all? Can you not help?? I'm so frustrated with this right now! I go to my FB page "Anna Lisa Yoder - Artist" (link above) and listed under "Apps" is "Portfolio" and then FAA "Shop". But if you click on "Shop" there's nothing. Well, just a long number. No images, No FAA. This looks very bad. Bad for FAA. Bad for me. I see lots of other people are having the same trouble, but I see no FAA response. Then I see there's been all this work on iFrame pages.. great, but surely FAA realizes hundreds of thousands more of us want the FB stuff fixed?? Please, please, please, I beg you. It's embarrassing.

Your facebook page shows your store now. You actually only asked about this 2 hours ago. I am afraid you sometimes have to wait a little longer than that for me to see your threads.

As for new uploads showing on pages, as it was not linked properly it would not load to it but should work now

Thank you-- I see that my FB page shows my store now, but lots of other problems still exist, and it's not like this just started today. Could you please make a list of what other people need to do who are having this problem, as it's obviously a common one. (And I never changed my settings, so why did this change?) Many of the problems I listed have been around a long ime, as you can see from other people's posts. The worst part is that all my FB Fan Page posts from FAA look terrible now, because there's no thumbnail. (WHY?? I don't know... there used to be one for every post! Can this be fixed?? I really dislike my page looking so bad due to this) And as I said, it's been ages since there have been TWO checkboxes on my Bulk Uploads options, yet only ONE checkbox on my single upload options. And the linked video should either be un-linked or fixed... it's very outdated. (both FAA and FB have changed since then). Partial list of what needs fixing by FAA in regards to FB:

-- OPTIONS boxes for Fan Pages, Timelines, & Twitter ALL need to appear in both kinds of Upload Boxes-- Bulk AND Single.

-- THUMBNAILS (past & present) need to appear on Fan Page Announcements of FAA uploads (I don't know if they've disappeared from Profile Pages)

-- WORDING needs changing in the section in our "Behind the Scenes" (should be "Social Media" even if you want to keep the FB icon, because it has the Twitter permissions also)

-- FIX the problem so that people don't have to find out in some round-about way that they need to disable & re-enable their FB profile in order to maybe get Fan Pages working. (although that didn't help me in the end; it only appeared it would..) and I still don't know what helped me!! (so others won't know either)

-- DEFAULT SETTINGS: If I have my default settings set to "NO" for automatic FB posting, then keep those boxes UNchecked, please, when I edit a photo OR add one. THis has not been the case. The boxes (if they exist) are usually checked automatically.

-- UNLINK the video or re-do it, so that people aren't stuck with old info.

Thanks! So-o-o -- is there any way to get those thumbnails to show up on my FB Artist Page?? It looks very bad with all these missing ones: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Anna-Lisa-Yoder-Artist/58663079154 Only the one most recent announcement's thumbnail shows up. Did FAA do something that breaks some part of the link? I clicked through on several of them, tried to edit them, etc. but still no thumbnail. I really dislike the idea of deleting every single thumbnail-less FAA post from FB. They used to all be there...

Also, could you please give some tips to others having the problem I had? I'm still in the dark as to what fixed it. I would like to know, in case I change my default settings at some point. Everyone who finds this post in a search will be in the dark too. A solution should be posted to this video tutorial as long as it's still there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TI948l_KIO0 .

the only way to fix it yourself is to delete the app and reload it. If there are still numbers, only we can fix it

Facebook are doing the thumbnails their end, I am afraid there is nothing I can do here to help

Ok, I just think you need to be much more specific about precisely WHAT to delete, and WHERE. Maybe provide a link or screenshot of the area on FAA or FB showing what needs to be deleted. Remember, I had done all that, & it didn't help. And people shouldn't need to search around here or in some YouTube video to learn what to do. These instructions should be placed in the same place that people are going to work on their Social Media connections. So if someone tries the "deleting" trick & still ends up seeing just a number on FB, some wording to that effect could be placed in the Social Media section...like: "if you only see a string of numbers in place of your FAA Shop on FB, please send us a message and we will fix it". Just trying to help the myriads of others stuck in this loop!
