Gotta Brag!

This is my son Brad, the younger of my artist sons, featured in Huffington Post. Guess I should point out the photo is Brad's mom and yours truly, dressed in Bcalla.

Yes, I fully understand there are many proud parents here on FAA all with exceptional offspring. Brad exhibited this talent from a very early age.

Gorgeous Everything/Everyone! I love your intertwined family and your success, each one, so much to do with unconditional love that glows .... So happy! Thanks for sharing proud moments!

That's awesome, Kevin! I noticed the cool shirt in your new avatar. :-)

Not all parents support their children; your kids are very lucky to have you!

Beautiful...congratulations to you and all, Kev.

My cousin's son (also gay) is at FIT now...I'm going to send her this article to give him some inspiration.

Btw...I haven't heard the term "queer" used in a long time. ;) I was also surprised they didn't mention his name...was that Brad's doing...is he trying to be known just by "Bcalla"?

Well, aren't you both looking fly and hip in your Bcalla!
I read the article and thought HuffPo did a great interview with him.
You are so right about many parents on FAA being proud of their kids... I'm one of them!
A friend once told me they were so lucky to have me as their mom... I've always thought that I'm the lucky one.

@ Lawrence - yeah, re's "queer." My lesbian and gay friends would be insulted if anyone called them queer. They fought that stereotype for years.
It's probably no different than the younger black generation calling their friends the N word... it's not for everyone of color, that's for sure! ;)

Kevin,

Pretty kewl stuff.

The best an artist can hope for during his life time is popularity for his work. Your son is well down the road to
popularity.

Many folks here have a stream of sales from Pinterest and Twitter...etc......that is making a good living.
But I am not sure any of us are mildly renowned or in other words popular.

Your son is braking through congrats to you and yours.

Thank you all. Yes the use of Queer has generated lots of conversation. I think it is "inside baseball" to a certain group in the life. You will get a headache trying to keep up with terminology around Gay politics. As parents we just roll with the punches.
