Sorry I Disappeared But

Hi everyone,

Sorry I disappeared but sadly I lost my mother on October 8th. She lives in Ohio so I have been there. It hit me hard but I am comforted by the fact that she was her normal feisty self on the 7th and I had spoken to her the night before. Anyway, she went to bed that night and simply did not wake up the next morning. She left us in the most peaceful way at 79 years old. She was a wonderful woman and it was certainly obvious in the turnout at her funeral.

So, I will start back featuring photographers and artists on Thursday. If you have been featured previously and would like to be featured again, please do a little something on your bio, maybe an update or just write about something that is happening with you now and send me different pics to feature.

You're a trooper. I don't do much in the forums any more, but wanted to write this.

I have noticed your daily posts for the longest time about featuring people. For some time now I have been amazed at how you continue. Most people would have stopped or given up, but you continue to plug away- every day. The break while you deal with your loss is understandable but here you are again... ramping up to begin again. Your self-sacrifice and the way you give to others is very special.

I am sorry for your loss. I don't know you, and only know what you wrote about your mother above. But my bet is that you are a lot like her. Thank you for your sacrifice and your hard work.
