It's a recent phenomenon, Dean..............somehow totally harmless though confusing to say the least. Skip had a thread about this,too...somewhere.

You can put anything before our urls and it still links to the correct image.

Typically, other artists names popup here all the time

Example:
http://this-part-can-be-anything.fineartamerica.com/products/devotional-dean-harte.html

Its just how they have setup Apache and redirects.

This is one of the oldest quirks around...I recall seeing these urls when I first joined in 2009....I do LOVE the new twist some of you have taken!
Who is gonna come clean the coffee out of my keyboard??

Oh that long one wont work Val :)

Sub domain names (the first bit before the '.fineartamercia.com', that's what is making this 'work') can only be upto 63 chars long, and the whole URL has to be shorter than 255 chars...
