Help Attracting Members To New Group

I started this group on June 15 and need help attracting new members to it. So far, I am the only one to post to it. It started out being called Naval Ships of the American Revolution and War of 1812. It is for sketches and paintings of naval ships and their engagements of the American Revolutionary War and War of 1812.

Today, I shortened that impossibly long name to Naval Ships & Privateers.(http://fineartamerica.com/groups/american-naval-ships-and-privateers-.html) in hopes of attracting others to the join the group. I hope that will attract more folks to post.

I note that when I add one of my new paintings to the group it does not appear in the on Activity pages. Can that be changed?

I'd be interested to receive the suggestions of others as to how I might promote this page to other FAA members.

If I can't attract new members by the end of November, I will probably delete all of my submissions and ask FAA to close the group.

Thanks,
Bill Hubbard

the shorted name helps, but not many have navy ships. plus you have too many rules and it's only for painters. there is limit to these specialty groups. if you want more people you have to expand what goes in there. or include photographers.
