Marilyn, I've had a couple of bunnies over the years and besides being ultra cute, I think they make really good pets.

I think chickadees are the cutest birds. We get the chestnut-backed chickadees here on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, unlike the more commonly-found black-capped chickadees. Most of the chickadees around my place will eat a peanut out of my hand. Here's one cutie that was following me around a couple of winters ago. I think this shot looks especially Christmassy because of the red berries and falling snow.



Not everyone agrees with me, but I find squirrels to be really cute, especially when I find them wearing a Santa hat and carrying a candy cane.

This curious little Havanese puppy liked the taste of freshly cut grass...and it shows on his paws and mouth.


Mitzie is a cute little puppy with a purple bow in her hair.


A Havanese puppy all dressed up for Christmas. This little guy was so excited with his tail wagging so much that it showed as just a blur.

Little grey is a rescued pony. He is a real cutie and always comes for grass from me even though he has a lush field he is kept in.

The Conversation is between a border collie and two young horses on a misty early morning up in the Peak District in Cheshire.

Both paintings are using photos for reference of the animals and then adding my interpretation on what they should be doing and mashing new bits on. The landscape on The Conversation was meant to be a hedge but I decided on mountains instead after a lot of playing around getting things wrong

The Gouldian Finch comes in a vast array of color combinations, but most of them have the red "lipstick" bill. They are indigenous to Australia.



When it gets cold, this is the best place to park your tootsies, and the soft dance of the flames is so soothing.
