Bug In The System?

FAA displays wrong thumbnails for one of my images and so I reloaded it only to find out that FAA deleted another image in the gallery. It's a recurring problem that really frustrates me. There appears to be a bug in the server. Contact FAA but the problem persists. I have a second thought about the joining the premium membership.

This happens only when you are using more than one window/tab when uploading or editing

If you reload the images with only one tab/window open at once the images should be sorted out

Also check the titles. I once uploaded separate images on the same night that were named the same thing ins PSE 11 and it caused all sorts of wonky stuff to go on wit the pages on FAA. Reuploaded one with a different file name and all was well.

Same thing happened to me as well. Added an image with same title as already uploaded image and it just corrupted other image. Now I am hesitant to use same title on two images. Some kind of official guideline on this is appreciated.

Yes, same titles also can give bad crossovers.

The files names are based on title. You can't use the same name on more than one image. I am not sure if they tell you that but it is pointed out in the forums from time to time. Come up with a naming system and give each image a unique name.

All the photos in the IMAGE tab reference correctly, but when I add them into the GALLERIES or re-position them the images don't reference correctly. [I always uploaded the images in different file names; FAA server apparently recognize the images by their titles.]

I've often wondered why FAA doesn't simply give each image a unique ID number on upload - it seems to be standard practice on most other sites.
