Colors, Shipping And Handling

Hi there

Maybe this has been discussed before, but I just wanted to let everyone know my experience. I ordered the image below as a greeting card.

The card arrived this morning, delivered to the front door by UPS. It was well wrapped in a hard cardboard envelope, shrink wrapped with plastic to keep it waterproof and literally took me 5 minutes to get in it, lol! I was impressed with how well it was wrapped.

The cardstock is heavy, this is not a flimsy card. On the back is the FAA logo, the name of the Image and the artist's name. Very nice as this is a gift.

As for color... the color of the Taj Mahal on the card is more yellow in tone than is portrayed in the image. Still a lovely color but not as ivory as the image display.

All in all, will definitely order more from FAA...

i wonder how much more yellow - and could it be your screen? check against your phone, those colors are often pretty good.

weird. i wonder if the paper has a cast to it. what i see is an ivory color, sort of a cream tint to it. i'd say the tone is about the same color as the inside of a banana, tannish.

Nope, it's a little more on the yellow side, but still a lovely image. The other thing I wanted to mention was the time frame

I had my first order by a client a couple of weeks ago of a box of greeting cards from the new printing facility in Scotland. One of those cards made its way back to me and it is as you described Karen. A good solid card with my name and website printed on the back of it. The colours are as they appear on my computer. Quality is very good. I got a lot of feedback and everyone was happy with them. The cards were sent from Scotland to England so Im assuming the delivery time was quick. All in all Im happy with my first shipment to a client form Scotland. Hoping soon they will print and ship all other formats from Scotland also.
