Trying To Sponsor A Page

I am trying to link my webpage to sponsor a page in shopping. When I click on the link that says "sponsor this page" a window opens. I copy the address that is to be used, provided by FAA, and when I try to use it as a link for my webpage, it says that it is not a valid URL.

What am I doing wrong?

you first have to have the image that has that word, 24 hours it has to be there. you have to copy the code they gave you onto that webpage you have. then copy the url of the web page back into the box then it should be ok. the code has to be in the html, not as text file as some people with blogs try.

What is the Website you are adding the sponsored link on?

So it is your web site that says the URL is not valid? Are you using a template that has a box to paste a URL? If so are you double posting the HTTP part that is already filled out?

David, may I ask why you have put a shopping cart on your shopping cart?

Go to the keyword you wish to sponsor, it must be one that is on your work and that has been up for over 24 hours

To do this just put the keyword in the image search

On the third row will be a sponsor link

If you click on that link, you'll see instructions explaining how you can sponsor the page and ensure that your images appear in the third row. It's very simple.

Just post a link to the artwork page somewhere on the internet which is not a social media site, a flash site, iframed site, nor your site with us,...It must be in the HTML area of that site. If unsure please ask your site host.

Tell us where you posted it... and presto - you've sponsored the page!

Each time someone visits one of your sponsored pages, your images will appear in the third row at random with others who may have sponsored the same keyword (in addition to wherever they would have normally appeared without your sponsorship). It's a great way to ensure that your images are prominently displayed whenever someone searches for keywords that pertain specifically to your artwork.

You can sponsor as many pages as you like. There are millions to choose from. To get started, just do a search for your most important keywords, and when the search results appear, click on the link above the third row of images.

I actually have a tutorial here http://1stangel.co.uk/fineartamerica/2011/12/28/sponsoring-pages/

Thanks to all who have responded. I did not know I had a shopping cart on top of my shopping cart.
