Over 900 Views Help Me Reach The 1000 By The End Of The Month

Hi everyone I joined FAA just before the summer and have yet to get a sale, however, my first goal is to reach the 1000 views, can you all help me to get to this first goal and while you are on my site I would appreciate any comments you have, I even invite people to give constructive criticism. In return I will visit your site and like anything that is to my taste, if I really love your work I will follow you. If anyone can give me tips on getting that elusive first sale please reply to this post on this and any other issues in this stream.

Hi Angela

I joined in May and I am still waiting for that first sale! It has been fun though and I enjoy seeing everyone's art so many gifted people on FAA.

Nice work, Angela - I tweeted your beautiful Ice Mountain photo... Hopefully that will get you a few more views.

Q: How Many Visitors Does It Take To Make A Sale?

You're in the wrong midset. If you'll do what it takes to make a sale, you'll eventually make a sale and the views will show that. Also, I'll copy and paste a reply I made to another OP earlier today --

My first reply, third post in thread.

Thank you for your comments and views Iv looked at your earlier discussion and take note of the comments, but without promoting my work and trying to get others views and comments I have no way of knowing if my work is commercially viable any tips on where my work might fit as I have a wide subject field although my favourite is nature based.

but getting random hits by strangers that have no plans on buying your work doesn't help you either. advertising out is the way to get buyer views. right now my only advice for selling is to lay off the effects, especially the reticulation. i can see a few selling but not with the coating.

One place where views won't help is here in the forums. You may get 100 views from us today but there is nt much of a chance of any of us buying artwork from a fellow member. (It does happen, but not often.) You need to promote your work where it will be seen by folks who might buy it -- friends, family, co-workers, cat lovers, vet offices. I do agree with Mike about the effects you use. You've set 1000 views as a goal of some sort, when even if you get 5,000 views from people who aren't looking to buy your art, it doesn't matter.

and buyers won't care about the total views either. it just looks nice under your name.
