that looked like black eagles car... there is a guy that lives near me, he has an old 70's car, covered in that stuff. when he gets out he's dressed as a shaman with dream catchers and such. he has a bike that has a similar look.

This is the remains of I don't know what exactly, and is round. the block from our pristine/famous Opera House......it goes unnoticed........

Tabby concrete, was a readily available and inexpensive construction material used in coastal North Florida in the last century. The aggregate is composed entirely of small shells that are mixed with concrete resulting in a brittle material that weathers quickly. The following are two structures built by slaves on and near the Kingsley Plantation on Amelia Island in Florida just north of Jacksonville.

These two are of the Anne Little School in Jacksonville which has been abandoned for over forty years.


These 2 are of the abandoned Miami Marine Stadium on Virginia Key. It was used for boat racing and other watersport competitions.

This is the old Universal Life Church in Merritt Island, Florida

These 3 are of the Cocoa Beach Glass bank which the city ordered demolished. The owner committed suicide on the grounds shortly after being force to move out.

This has been an interesting thread. I love abandoned homesteads.

This part of the city is the old, archaic Riga, Latvia, littered with private houses and quaint parks. In 1941 these houses were nationalized by communists after the Soviet occupation. For almost 50 years there was done a little to maintain this unique architecture.

Sometimes, when nature takes back, the decay can look nice :)

One of many abounded old farmhouses in Latvia. After collapse of the Soviet Union and Latvia started painful process of economical and political reforms. After closing socialist collective farms, many people could not find any job in the countryside and left to the cities or abroad.
