Have You Ever Bought Art On Faa?

I'm a photographer with two teenagers. I'm broke. I can't afford to have my own work printed to sale in person.

I have purchased 6 pieces here before I was a member. All are printed on aluminum. Sorry I am at work and don't have pics. But the quality of the prints are good.

I was going to order 10 prints on canvas but an answer was not giving when asked a question about time expectation so I used a local printer. I'm sure I will use faa in the future to compare side by side but this order was too important to rely on a mail order and the local printer is excellent

all 3 11x14 printed on cool tone picture rag ,all turned out amazing...after i posted this i figured you wanted the hanging versions will work on that.

Yup! After following this artist and viewing her work for a while I had to buy an image. The quality is amazing, I am very pleased!

I always buy my own prints to keep stock for my customers, but I have no more space on my walls for anything new for myself. I probably would if I did.

No I sure haven't.

I have 5 of Leah's paintings as cards that I'll be framing up soon in a collage. Hopefully I'll have some money eventually to get some more from other folks to add to my collection.

I've purchased at least two framed and double-matted prints--one of Big Sur by Stephen Vecchiotti (as soon as he had posted it!), and Dry Run Falls #1 by Joel Blyler. I bought them because they met the need of the rooms I placed them in, and because I love both images. They're scenes I haven't captured in my own galleries, and may not have a chance to. I enjoy them so much!

I only bought to see the samples and check the quality. I bought a stretched canvas, a paper print and a cell phone cover. The canvas and the print are excellent. The cell phone cover is just okay but nothing to brag about. Pretty plain and with no built in protection if you drop the phone. The value is in the custom imaging. But the cost is pricey, imho. But I sell one every now and again.

If you are having you own prints done for your own use or local selling or any selling outside FAA you need to use a wholesale to the trade printer. It is 30-50% the cost. And of course you have to make sure the quality is as good. That goes without saying.

No I haven't because I have a small house and it's full of my pictures although I do admire a lot of the work here, it would be very hard for me to choose.

Yes, several greeting cards that are framed. I also bought a pack of cards (below) to send out as invitations for football season - great feature to be able to customize the inside!

Only cards, but there is so much more from other artists that I'd like to purchase if I had the funds. I have framed a few of the cards. The quality is excellent.

Yes, I have bought several pieces here. A few cards and one framed print of my own work...just to see how they looked. I send my dad one of my cards almost every month. He is 95 and he likes to see I am so successful...(little joke)
As an administrator of a group...Women Photographers - One A Day, I am constantly exposed to great art. I simply cannot help myself. My sales cart always has some things in it and then when I get a little bundle I pay for them and in a week or so I get a package. I love the boxes the cards come in by the way. I wish we got a better price on the cards, as artists and customers here...about $2.00 would be perfect.

Yes, as I live in Asia I sent a children's room painting to a niece in the USA for her baby shower. None of my stuff seemed appropriate. Sorry no pics from here, but it is a nice way to shop and support other artists without having to deal with mailing things myself.

I would like to buy something from this guy, but I will never be succesful with money to spare for things like this.
