Faa Discussions- Will They Be Improved?

As to the others . . . I don't know.

I don't think changes to the discussions are even on the radar at the moment, but they're not too bad as they are, once you get used to them.

As I understand it, there will be NO changes to FAA. Well, except for those 'big ones' that were promised months ago. And the admins here are keeping mum as to what changes these might be. Just that they are big, and no one knows when they will happen. All I have heard is that they will happen “very shortly”; Whatever that means.

No, there will be no changes to the forum. At least for a while.

Me too Ed, but I don't think you can change human behavior all that easy. lol

I will tell you that I post on two different, non-art boards that have seen a 50% drop or more in participation when they went to that "reply" to individual posts system.

Those threads get so fragmented that you can only follow one person at a time easily and you lose the continuity of the OP very fast.

I like the discussions the way they are now. I can find things. I hate the "outline style" discussions where you reply to a reply, etc.

I don't ever participate in discussions on any of the other sites I'm on because I can't find anything and the format is really lame. You can wait days for an answer to a question there because nobody sees it.

Here, I post a question, and I get an answer within minutes.
