What Happened To Views?

if your not getting views, your not advertising your work. simple as that. even just showing up in a contest or a group, uploading new stuff will get you views.

Still uploading and partecipating to contests....just saw a drop in views....

Unfortunately I am not the like/favorite/comment character, though...

Views are down Valentino, not sure of the reason.

I got a boost from twitter Valentino...

always twitting my new uploads...those work, but other than that, pretty much nothing today...just 2-3 views...impossible!

My views don't seem to be working today either. I always know when my mother is looking at my photos because i see Gimli, Manitoba listed as a location. When I see Gimli, Manitoba I e-mail her and ask if she's been looking at my photos and we laugh about it. Today she told me she was looking at my photos but there is no record of it.

Just looking at the visitors and it looks like a bots day off. Maybe they finally found a way so that not so many show up. I had a good day for views and very few were from the usual places. So I guess you could say the volume of high quality views was up for me today. Interestingly a regular visitor to a certain image finally dropped some change just now for a 48 inch framed print but it did not show as a view for today. Last view from that town was earlier in the week so I guess they had it in the shopping cart and buying it did not register a view.

My views are way, way down recently and sales have dropped to zero for a couple weeks as well.

This is very troubling. Are the views going to the collections or to another art site? Or just a lull before the Christmas rush?

in general oct - the sales and views have slowed quite a bit. sept i did great and now it's like summer again, oddly slow, you can see in the forum too. 5 messages apart and it's an hour in time

i'm thinking it's a lull, football, autumn viewing, maybe they are holding money for xmas, hard to know. on the plus side sept will help balance other months, provided everyone keeps what they got. and hoping for the xmas rush to even things out. it might be as simple as the temperature outside. according to accuweather, the avg temp across the US was 70-80. i didn't check what it was in sept though. people may just be trying to enjoy as much of the warmth as they can before it gets cold again.

It seems not everyone is quiet, our activity leader for oct 7 had almost 18,000 visits.

ignore the activity leaders, i think the top ones uses bots to inflate those numbers.

my other store is trickling also, when it was sort of flowing before. some kind of secret plot by the Illuminati kicked in and no one is buying or viewing things. it's an evil plan...

I am here only for less than 3 months and i have also noticed real slow down in getting views in last one week. I have been uploading regularly. Hope things will get better soon.

Seems like views are back on the rise, even got a sale.

I noticed my visitor count is down lately. When I used to type my name and artist in a google search it used to come up with a lot of my images from Fine Art America but that doesn't happen anymore. I wondered if anyone else has noticed this as well?

Hum Louise I did as you wrote and your FAA profile is first followed by your main site on a Google search.

Things picked up for me this week. Views are up. Sold three originals this week. Waiting for the print sales to happen.

I had visitors from Borger, TX and Central District - Hong Kong. Bots(?).

My family from Dublin, Ireland took another look today. Love them dearly.

What I meant was if I did the search in Google and looked in Images all the images that appeared first were from Fine Art America now it is either my own personal website or Pinterest? No images appear to be linked with this website anymore - hope that makes sense!
