Will The Real Roger Clark Please Stand Up.....

There seems to be two Roger Clarks, and paintings are getting mixed up. People trying to get to my page are only directed to his. I informed FAA of this, and they said nothing they could do, and perhaps one of us should change our name....strange...I am from MA by the way....

If you want to direct people to your artist website, get a unique url and forward it there.

I would be willing to go under Clarkart, with my name under it, but don't know how to make change. Plus some of my work is appearing on his site, and I doubt that pleases him.

I'd fill out a contact e mail for tech help, explaining the problem and have them help you change the name and sort out the two portfolios.

I did that Marlene and they said there is nothing they can do.

http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/rogerclark.html This is the other Roger Clark... don't see your work on his page.
Since he got here first, he got the URL with just roger-clark and you got 1-roger-clark

I signed in with just Roger Clark and not 1-roger-clark. Guess that ends the discussions as I do not wish to continue...and just hope for the best.

Roger, go to godaddy.com or another provider of domain names. For a few bucks a year you can have your own domain, put it on your business card and people will be directly sent to your Artist Website. It looks like Clarkart.com is not available though.

For what it is worth, I would suggest Roger Clark Art or something similar. Your name would still be featured (and featured first) and you'd differentiate from the other Roger Clark. ClarkArt Roger Clark seems a bit clumsy to me.

You have wonderful work by the way.

Use your name as a keyword, too. It will help people find YOU... and it may also steer someone looking for him to you as well.

Roger Clark Art is his title, but I agree with you. Thank you for the kind words.

I changed to Roger Clark Artist...see how that goes.
