Clarification On Pricing

Hi! I'm in the process of setting up my account and would love some clarification.

When setting up prices . . . for example, if I input $10 for an 8x10, does that mean I'll earn $10 for a print OR a canvas print?
Basically, I'll earn that amount based on size not type of print whether it's on paper or canvas?

Thank you!

Yes, you earn the money on size, not whether it is printed on paper, canvas or metal, etc. Metal and canvas are really cool, though. The FAA cost for production will be different on whatever print is rdered though, so don't let that fool you.

$10 is a bit low for an 8X10, by the way.

you are correct

Yes it is the amount you will make based on size only.

the base price you add will count for every substrate. so yes.

Right now, the smallest size you are offering is an 11X14. Be sure you fill in a price on every size you want to sale. You may wish to sell nothing smaller than this if that is what you want to do.

Joseph, Thanks for the tips! I didn't know my account could be seen already, lol
So, you suggest a price for every size? I chose not to go too small on the one pic I posted bc I don't feel the smaller sizes compliment the original painting.

But I should price regardless, bc someone may want/prefer something smaller?

That's why I worded it the way I did in case you specifically decided not to sell that size. I had the same question on some of my shots, too and even stopped pricing the 8 inch shots.... and then one day I decided to go back and add a price in and I've sold a few since then. I typically sale larger prints though. I don't think there is a wrong philospohy or a right one really. I just ultimately decided if the buyer wants that size, let the buyer get it.

I could change my mind next week though!
