If you can spare 30 minutes, this is a really encouraging talk Neil Gaiman (author) gave to the graduating students of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. It's really worth the time!

Wow! What a great talk. It just so happens I have 2 sons who are following his great advice. They forgot to "ask permission" and just go out and change their worlds.
