Hvac For My Studio?

I have been struggling with the issue of installing heating, cooling, and ventilation (HVAC) in my studio. At first, I was going to save costs by using space heaters and open windows, but we often have very high humidity (98%) here in the mountains, freezing weather (sometimes below zero fahrenheit), and summer temps in the 90s (although this year the 80s was as hot as it got).

I don't have an estimate of costs yet for HVAC, but do you think I should install it and run it for the sake of my prints and paints and other supplies?

they make rolling air conditioners, i think you exhaust them with a pipe. just roll it out of the way when you don't need it. a fan and room heater for heat. HVAC is kind of expensive for that use. i think the paint would survive, this is mostly about sanity.
