FAA: I am learning to use FAA and its advantages. FAA is useful for exposure, discussions such as this, and its availability to take orders, fulfill those orders in various formats, package and ship.
Exposure: I started using Pininterest and learning what it has to offer. Have Facebook site and will upgrade and use it more. Have Google Plus but for now a low priority.
Next: My own personal website with its own distinctive domain. I have created basic wordpress sites for other projects in the past.

Question:
Please recommend a (preferably free of course) WP theme that is best for display of photo art.
I will use FAA script to link to sales through my site FAA site at http://louis-macovsky.artistwebsites.com/

AND please recommend the best plugins for home/landing page display as well as display on internal pages.

I bet there will be competing opinions in the replies so please have a lively discussion on merits of the alternatives.

I use theme Sixteen (https://wordpress.org/themes/sixteen?TB_iframe=true&width=1024&height=800) and the author is very responsive to questions as I am very very new to wordpress and themes. I just upgrade to his sixteen pro. Here is my current website (http://christycoxphotography.com/) ;however, look at his theme page as I have removed several of his options.

Nice site and photos too! BUT I clicked on the widget (?) to follow how to purchase your images at FAA and I couldn't close or move the FAA popup. Had to back button or reopen the website.

I am using Firefox.

Interesting - I use Google Chrome and at the very top of the FAA popup window on the far left is back and far right is close. I can use the back menu option and go to the shopping cart, yet you are correct - it will not close. I'll ask in the bug thread...although maybe its by design - must buy before leaving! LOL
